Dead Floyd is a celebration of the music of two of rock and roll’s greatest bands, The Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd, mashed together into one high-energy, unpredictable show. Drawing from both extensive catalogs of music, the Dead Floyd performances include early rarities to modern classics and everything in between. Dead Floyd is based out of Fort Collins, Colorado and, since forming in summer 2009, they have performed at renowned venues such as The Fox Theater, Aggie Theatre, Boulder Theater, Mishawaka Amphitheatre, Belly Up Aspen, and more. In addition, the band has been consistently voted one of the top tribute bands in Colorado.

The band is made up of Charlie Humphreys (guitar, vocals), Josh Miller (bass, vocals), Stu Crair (drums, vocals), and Matt Goldberg (keys, synth). This group of players has combined to perform over 1000 shows across the country in various original projects including The Grippe, Musketeer Gripweed, Hot Gazpacho, The Maji, Wooleye, Holy Moses and the High Rollers, Orooni, and many more.

Aaron Kamm(guitar/vocals), Andy Dorris(bass) and Sean Raila(drums) create a sublime fusion of lighthearted reggae and old school funky blues that is well respected across genres. Kamm goes above and beyond as a lead vocalist when he not only sings their lyrics, he makes good use of his voice as an instrument.

This is a true "band" in the sense that there is an unspoken understanding amongst the members during a performance that is reminiscent of supernatural telepathy or the most base animalistic herd mentality. When one of them takes a tangent, or a jam, to the flow of the regular song, the other bandmembers flow right along in rhythm.

Enjoy this group as I have. They're dedicated to their craft and are destined for longstanding success in the music industry.

On The surface a Joint Point implies a juncture at which individual ideas converge into collaborative ones. For those lucky enough to ride the ski mountain in Telluride, it indicates a more specific meaning, namely a ski run between Mammoth and Spiral Stairs off the “local’s lift” chair 9. Yet the moniker takes on even more depth when you consider a constantly evolving musical ensemble, Telluride’s popular jam band, Joint Point.

Formed in the Colorado ski town in 2008, the group prides itself on its eclecticism, easily moving between dance rock, reggae, jazz, latin, bluegrass, disco, fusion and country. Guitarists Stu Sundel-Norlin and Jeff Haldeman deliver well crafted, intelligent song writing that has attracted large crowds over the last 10 years. The rhythm section of Casey Yorkunas and Joel Waller continually push the band in new directions and ways to explore their vast catalog of songs. Do yourself a favor and check them out as they open the ~2019 CANNIVAL~

Hailing from Telluride, Colorado, Niceness is rooted in the traditional sounds of island reggae; seamlessly integrating elements of soul, funk, latin and hip-hop while staying true to their authentic reggae vibes.

A familial gathering of vibrantly diverse personalities rallying around personal, socio-political, and environmental issues its ranks include activists, an organic farmer, a life coach, a permaculture designer, a Buddhist bodybuilder champ, two music teachers, adventurers, an arborist entrepreneur, and a Doctor of Psychology. The Colorado-grown band also has the rare distinction of being fronted by a firebrand female vocalist who oozes shamanistic charisma, hypnotizes with seductively stirring vocals, and upholds a fierce commitment to “art in action” ethos.

The Niceness band consists of frontwoman and songwriter Koral Delatierra; drummer, vocalist, and songwriter Michael “Mikey G.” Gomberg; guitarist Dustin Wilson; keyboardist and vocalist, David “Bassie” Christeson; bassists Mike Enriquez; percussionist Jonathon “Johnny B” Barfield; alto sax player John White and tenor sax player Jeff Gutierrez.

Together, this collective is more than a band; it’s a state of mind. Mikey G., who coined the group’s moniker, explains: “‘Niceness’ is a colloquial outburst that translates to ‘Right On!,’ ‘Sweet!’ or, as Jamaicans exclaim, ‘Irie!’. The name is a proclamation of jubilance.”
